How it works
Messages are delivered as push notifications if the learner has granted permission.
They also appear in the in-app inbox regardless — so learners always see them when they open the app.
⚠️
This tool is to be used purely to assist learners with access to SCL systems and must not be used for any other purpose.
SCL staff are not permitted to access learner accounts, and this system keeps a full audit trail of every action.
▾Create Student Accounts in Entra
Upload a direct CSV export of the Student Conditional Offer Acceptance Report 26.27 from ProSolution — no editing needed, the default mappings already match its columns. This creates @sclstudent.co.uk accounts in Entra in batches of 10, each with a memorable initial password (force-change at first login), and adds them to the search tool below. Existing UPNs are skipped, not recreated. Use Mappings to control which CSV column fills which Entra attribute.
👤
Click to choose or drag a CSV file here
Wipes the search-tool records only (to start fresh). Does not delete the accounts in Entra.
This tool only shows the initial password assigned at import, or a new password generated by a reset performed here. It cannot show a password the student has since set themselves — if a student has changed their own password and is now locked out, use Reset Password to issue a new one.
Student Licence Assignment
Choose which licence each site's device type gets on account creation. Assigned automatically via Graph after the account is made. Leave a device type unset to create without a licence.

CSV → Entra Field Mappings
For each CSV column, choose the Entra attribute it should populate (or "Not mapped"). This is saved and reused on every import. The SCL Email Address column is fixed — it always fills both the UPN and the Email field and can't be changed.

Send Welcome Emails
Tick the students and send. Welcome emails go to SP-First Year learners only — returning learners are shown greyed out and can't be selected. A learner also needs a personal email and a password on record. The Welcome column shows who's already had it.
Send to every eligible SP-First Year learner matching the Scope + Status above — not just the ones shown. Returning learners, anyone already signed in, and anyone without a personal email or password on record are skipped automatically. Bulk send only applies to “Not yet emailed” or “Bounced / failed” — to re-send to someone already emailed, use the ✉ on their row.

Unifrog Export
Generates a CSV of students with a Formal Offer, in the exact format Unifrog's bulk-import expects, from the Student Logins import.
Leaving year is set per Application Type (configure under Settings → Unifrog Leaving Year by Application Type; unset types default to next year). The Form/group teacher email comes from each centre's
Unifrog Lead Teacher (set on the Centres tab); postcode comes from the centre; gender comes from the Sex column on the import.
Only centres that have a Unifrog Lead Teacher set are included — students at a centre with no lead teacher are left out.
Unifrog imports at most 999 students per file. If more than that match, the download is automatically split into several files of up to 999 (unifrog-import-part-1-of-N.csv) — import each one separately. Your browser may ask permission to download multiple files.

The QR code and link for learners to download the SCL One app. Scanning sends iPhones to the App Store and Android phones to Google Play automatically.
Drip a series of messages to enquirers by email, SMS or in-app (SCL One) — timed a number of days after their enquiry, or on a fixed date each year — with separate FE and HE sequences. Every send is recorded in the Comms Log.

SMS isn't activated yet — SMS messages are held and will send automatically once an SMS number is configured.
🧪 Test mode — WhatsApp messages only send to the allowlisted test numbers. Nothing reaches real students until this is switched off.
WhatsApp (WATI) isn't connected yet. Once the API key and webhook are configured, incoming messages will appear here.
WhatsApp requires an approved template to open a new conversation. Once they reply you can chat freely for 24 hours.
Daily Centre Alerts
Emails a daily alert (around 08:00) when any active centre is missing GPS coordinates or isn't categorised as Sport, Performing Arts or Core Skills. Only sends when at least one centre needs attention.

Site Access
Reviewers only see enquiries, applications, events and student logins for the centres assigned to them here. A Reviewer with no sites assigned sees nothing. Admins, Users and Super Admins always see all sites and don't need assigning. Users appear here after their first sign-in, or you can pull everyone in now with Sync from Entra.

RONI — Destinations Agent Chat Tester
Role-play as an ex-learner to test how the destinations agent responds, before it goes live over SMS/WhatsApp. This is a sandbox — nothing is sent to real learners.
Allocate a Bursary Laptop
Search for a current student by name or SCL email, then record the loan device. Bursary laptops are lent to qualifying students and must be returned at the end of their time with SCL.

System Checks
Checks the external services SCL One depends on. Live checks actually contact the service and prove the credential works right now (e.g. an expired admin sign-in secret shows here before it breaks login). Config checks confirm the settings are present and well-formed, without a paid call.
Testing Mode
When enabled, a warning banner is shown to all learners every time they open the app. They must dismiss it before continuing.

Student Account Deprovision
Find student Microsoft accounts by attribute criteria — for example accounts whose academic year (extensionAttribute1) is not the current year. The base scope is always @sclstudent.co.uk accounts. Conditions are combined with AND.
Preview is read-only — it makes no changes. There is only one Microsoft tenant, so disabling (a later step) would affect live accounts everywhere. Review the preview + CSV carefully first.
